For almost forty years Holly Hughes Stoner, M. Ed., LMFT, has taught grade school in Prairie View, Illinois, middle school in Whitefish Bay, WI at Milwaukee Jewish Day School and as a special education teacher at Shorewood High School in Shorewood, Wisconsin. Additionally, she has had a K-12 tutoring practice for over thirty years in Milwaukee and is currently in practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist. Holly has also co-authored The Teen Compass Wellness Notebook, The Parent Wellness Compass and other wellness materials with her husband, Scott. Together they also co-direct the Samaritan Family Wellness Foundation. Holly lives in Shorewood, Wisconsin and has three adult children and two grandsons.
D. Scott Stoner, LMFT, has been a family therapist in 1985, first in the Chicago area and then in Milwaukee. His focus is working with individuals, couples, men, and families. He is the co-director, with his wife, Holly Hughes Stoner, of the Samaritan Family Wellness Foundation in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The foundation’s focus is creating preventative wellness materials for adults, families, and teens. He is also the creator of the national Living Compass Wellness Initiative. Scott lives in Shorewood, Wisconsin, with Holly, and also has three grown children and two grandsons.
